At Andy Roo's Coop Rescue, every purple door represents hope. We rescue, rehabilitate, rehome, and provide lifelong sanctuary for poultry and small farm animals while building a compassionate community through education, advocacy, and second chances.

Our Story

Andy Roo’s Coop Rescue started with a love for animals, a big-hearted family, and one simple idea: even the smallest, feathered, furry, or farmyard friend deserves a second chance.

Our rescue provides a safe landing place for poultry and small farm animals who have been abandoned, surrendered, neglected, injured, or simply have nowhere else to go. Whether it’s a chicken needing a new flock, a duck needing medical care, or another little farm friend needing a safe place to heal, we’re here to help.

Animals who come through our doors receive safe shelter, nutritious food, medical care when needed, rehabilitation, plenty of patience, and lots of love. When they’re ready, we work to find responsible, loving homes. For animals who aren’t able to be adopted, sanctuary means they’ll always have a safe place to call home.

And the name Andy Roo? That’s a family story! Andy comes from our son Andyn, and Roo comes from our daughter Aysa, who we’ve always called “Aysa Roo.” We wanted their names at the heart of the rescue because kindness, responsibility, and compassion for animals are values we hope to pass along to them.

We may have started small, but our hearts (and probably our coop!) are always making room for another second chance.

Rescue. Heal. Rehome. Love. Repeat. 💜

Because behind every purple door, there’s room for a little more hope.

Who We Are

Help Us Build Their Safe Haven

Andy Roo’s Coop Rescue is just getting started, and we need your help building a safe, comfortable place for animals in need.

Donations help us provide housing, fencing, feed, bedding, medical supplies, and everyday care for the animals who come through our doors.

Whether it’s a bag of feed, building materials, supplies from our wish list, or a monetary donation—every little bit helps us grow and save more animals.

Our dream? A world where every feather makes with difference. Help us get there!
